Before reading this article, I never knew about the sheer number of fonts. Although the fonts are the same, they are also very different in appearance. Also I found the meaning of the word serif, and how far it dates back.

How many points are in an inch? How many points are in a pica?
Points in inch: 72 Points in Pica: 12
Of the seven classifications, which classification(s) would best work as body type? Why?
San Sarif would work the best since it's very simple, but doesn't look bad.
Identify the lowercase characters that have ascenders?b,d,f,h,k,l,t
Identify the lowercase characters that have descenders?
G,J,P,Q,Y







Slab Sarif: It has a very thick appearance.
Transitional: It is more rounded than others.
Gothic: Its appearance is related to the older European handwriting style.
San Sarif: It has no Serif
Decorative: It has a stranger, more decorative look that would not be appropriate for Essays.
Handwritten: It appears to be handwritten.
Modern: Its horizontal strokes are slightly thicker than its vertical ones.
