Assignments

This assignment was to allow us to experience what it's like working for a company. We need to make a letter head, a letter, and a business card for one of three different companies.

This was a different type of logos. We create logos using mainly letters and a minimal amount of shapes.

This was to create logos for companies. I don't think that the logo I made is reasonable in terms of cost due to the cost of the colors.

This project was probably the hardest for me because there was so many things I could do, but not all of them would work very well. The project had to include all of the histories, so I had to focus on that, but adding too much design would distract the reader, or leave me with too little room to work. Also presenting it was a big part. I decided to go with the idea of a scavenger hunt to force the reader to go from destination to destination.

Assignment 15: We were mixing together a segment of our unit, and the skills we learned from the past. In this project, we didn't need to use any other pictures, pen tool. Only the type tool and brush tool was used. It made me think about how much easier the work, not having to draw every single thing out with the  pen tool. The part that really taught me was making the paper, it made me different types of layer blends, and shading that I never even knew about.

We learned about the different occupations in the field of Graphic Designing. My choice was the most vague, graphic designer. I enjoyed this because it allows us to do our own thing, and not be constricted as much by guidelines. In this assignment, we worked with many skills and tricks to cause the reader to view it how we want them to.

This assignment forced us to work with others. Though it didn't force us to use any new tools, it still helped us learn and get used to this program. It was different in that we had to only have part of the project done, not the entire thing.

Assignment 9 allowed us to work with type, and experience the differences between each such as modern, serif, etc. It also forced us to use type for different purposes.

Assignment 8 had us mix our skills that we learned with Adobe Illustrator with our new concept, typography.

The object of the project was to help us get used to working with Photoshop. It helped me learn about all of the tools that this program has to offer.

It showed us how to use layer masks, and how to delete and add real photos.
This design was used to show us a different type of style of design, so we could experience the variety.

This design shows us the color wheel, but it also required us to use the pen tool to practice drawing figures. Next time i would try to include a more complex design.
This shows four color schemes, and the assignment was created to have us experience the different colors. The shading was a bit difficult, but overall I'm satisfied with the project.

The fifth assignment was supposed to show us how the different pictures could be manipulated to form a completely different object.

Assignment # 1 IconsFor this assignment, we were required to create specific icons using only the shape and line tools. This was a very fun experience, and got me very familiar with both tools. The thing that I would change next time would be the cone of the ice cream, and add more pages in the library icon.
